]]>The Stellar Tempo paddle is a “High Angle” style blade, great for fitness paddling and narrower boats. The Tempo is designed for those paddlers with a steeper catch angle and a tight catch to the boat. This high angle style of stroke is more efficient for propulsion, concentrating more of your force in a forward direction compared to a “low angle” design. The blade tip is rounded for a solid clean catch at varying angles. The blades are designed with minimal dihedral, allowing for easy feathering and control strokes. Sized perfectly for a full day of kayaking and control in varying conditions. The tempo comes standard with a tension adjustable cam, allowing for 10cm of length adjustment and any feather angle. The round shaft settles comfortably into your hand and the carbon laminate is lightweight, with an ideal blend of stiffness and flex, while looking great.

The hull design builds off the success of our popular V5 surfski, with the full feature list of our longer touring kayaks like the 18X. There has simply never been a smarter, better designed, kayak in its class. Paddlers looking for stability and speed will love the 14X, and those seeking adventurous waters will be thrilled by its performance!
The 14X comes standard with the Smart Track rudder system and our proven, adjustable carbon footboard/pedal system. Adjustable seat (tools required), 2 large hatches and a convenient day hatch will carry everything you need for your next adventure. It also features deck lines for increased storage and safety, and bow/stern carry handles.
The cockpit is 16”x33.25” (inside), 18.25”x35.5” (outside of coaming)
The Epic 18X Sport is designed for intermediate to advanced touring paddlers seeking a distinct edge in a high-performance kayak. Paddlers find the stability and sleek, efficient shape of the 18X Sport to allow them to cover long distances with exceptional ease and speed, and that it performs great in rough water conditions.
In addition to all the features that come standard on an Epic, the 18X Sport includes Smart Track steering system, adjustable seat (tools required), a day hatch, large storage capacity, and dramatic front deck cutaways for a closer, more efficient stroke.
While the 18X Sport and the 18X share the same overall width and length, the 18X Sport is .75″ wider when measured at the 4″ waterline.

The V8 Pro is the perfect boat for those who want a performance upgrade from our popular V8 or a high performance ski that is a bit more stable than the V10 Sport. In terms of speed and stability, the V8 Pro fits perfectly between the Epic V8 and the V10 Sport.
The V8 Pro includes the same great outfitting features of the V8, including the bow, stern and center carry handles, water bottle holder, and the patented Epic bailer. ALSO this kayak has the $200 optional tubes and lines factory installed for a Smart Track kickup (Uphaul) rudder blade to be easily added.
The V8 Pro will fit paddlers from 4’10” to 6’5” in height. The reduced hump under knees will be appreciated by smaller paddlers. Taller paddlers between 6’5” and 6’7” will be better suited in the V8 or V10 Sport.

The Epic V10 ignited a revolution in surfski design when introduced in 2005 and the newest version continues the legendary performance on the water thanks to innovative R&D and two decades of experience in the rapidly evolving world of ocean surfski racing. We added features of the latest Epic V12 that paddlers rave about into the newest V10, creating a more user-friendly model that allows more people to excel and experience the thrill of surfski paddling. Sharing the unique bow shape of the Gen 3 V12, the Gen 4 V10 surfs like a dream, rising up after slicing into a wave, and is less affected by cross winds. With the streamlined bow and a greater rocker profile, the new V10 gives the best downwind performance of the V10 series yet!
Stability has improved over previous V10 versions, giving you full confidence to apply power in downwind conditions – essential for taking another stroke and catching the wave of the day! Improved seat ergonomics put the paddler in a more upright position while the lower hump height allows more effective leg drive. The seat width is similar to the Gen 3 V10, giving just enough hip room for those that need it, while still keeping you well-centered in the bucket.
As Epic’s legacy surfski model, the V10 continues to evolve and make waves around the world. We have created a unique, nimble boat for advanced/intermediate skilled paddlers that doesn’t require elite level stability skills. Take your paddling to the next level with the Gen 4 V10.

The V8 Double gives intermediate paddlers the confidence to venture out into more adventurous conditions – Surf’s up!
