V8 PRO

The V8 Pro is the perfect boat for those who want a performance upgrade from our popular V8 or a high performance ski that is a bit more stable than the V10 Sport. In terms of speed and stability, the V8 Pro fits perfectly between the Epic V8 and the V10 Sport.

The V8 Pro includes the same great outfitting features of the V8, including the bow, stern and center carry handles, water bottle holder, and the patented Epic bailer. ALSO this kayak has the $200 optional tubes and lines factory installed for a Smart Track kickup (Uphaul) rudder blade to be easily added.

The V8 Pro will fit paddlers from 4’10” to 6’5” in height. The reduced hump under knees will be appreciated by smaller paddlers. Taller paddlers between 6’5” and 6’7” will be better suited in the V8 or V10 Sport.

The Epic V10 ignited a revolution in surfski design when introduced in 2005 and the newest version continues the legendary performance on the water thanks to innovative R&D and two decades of experience in the rapidly evolving world of ocean surfski racing. We added features of the latest Epic V12 that paddlers rave about into the newest V10, creating a more user-friendly model that allows more people to excel and experience the thrill of surfski paddling. Sharing the unique bow shape of the Gen 3 V12, the Gen 4 V10 surfs like a dream, rising up after slicing into a wave, and is less affected by cross winds. With the streamlined bow and a greater rocker profile, the new V10 gives the best downwind performance of the V10 series yet!

Stability has improved over previous V10 versions, giving you full confidence to apply power in downwind conditions – essential for taking another stroke and catching the wave of the day! Improved seat ergonomics put the paddler in a more upright position while the lower hump height allows more effective leg drive. The seat width is similar to the Gen 3 V10, giving just enough hip room for those that need it, while still keeping you well-centered in the bucket.

As Epic’s legacy surfski model, the V10 continues to evolve and make waves around the world. We have created a unique, nimble boat for advanced/intermediate skilled paddlers that doesn’t require elite level stability skills. Take your paddling to the next level with the Gen 4 V10.

V8 DOUBLE Performance Layup ( Black tips)

Surfskis are no longer unstable racing craft capable of being paddled only by professional athletes. Most levels of paddler can get onto a V8 DOUBLE and paddle proficiently from the first day.

Newbies will appreciate the way they can jump on and go without spending their first sessions bracing or capsizing. The V8 Double gives intermediate paddlers the confidence to venture out into more adventurous conditions – Surf’s up! Experts will enjoy showing their non-paddling friends or relatives the thrill of surfski paddling. The V8 Double is also the perfect vehicle for parents to introduce surfski to their kids.

The Epic V8 double is easy to carry with side handles at each cockpit in addition to bow & stern handles. The front cockpit accommodates paddlers from 5’0” to 6’7” in height, while the rear cockpit will fit those from 4’10” to 6’5” tall.

This Ski has the optional Kick up Rudder tubing so that a k/u can quickly and easily be added later …a $200 option.

The Stellar 16′ Sit-on-Top (S16S) is a transitional sit-on-top, stable enough for entry level and intermediate paddlers to feel comfortable, but fast enough for fitness paddling and racing! The Stellar Falcon Surfski: An amalgamation of the SEA, SEI G2 and S18SX. High stability and low wetted surface area and improved rocker and stern fairing makes this boat fast on the flats and agile in the swell. The 3rd generation seat has a very rounded back to eliminate hot spots and increase rotation for a more powerful stroke. With an optimized rudder position and a more rounded keel in the stern, the Falcon is a very agile boat, similar to that of a much shorter Surfski. Innovative features include water shedding bow and stern handles, inboard set cockpit handles and an improved volume in the bow deck for a drier ride. Perfect for staying connected to your boat! The coil leash attaches just below your knee.

**Always use a leash! In strong winds, our lightweight boats can blow away from you faster than you can swim. Practice your remounts while wearing your leash(es) so there are no surprises when you are forced to remount.

Please note, for paddlers going in and out of surf, you typically do not want to be attached to your boat in the surf zone, your ski is not a surfboard and with a central attachment point, the leash can place a large amount of force on your leg. For disconnecting quickly, you can use the pull tab to quickly undo the loop leg wrap. Always wash your leash and components off with fresh water after use and check the integrity of all components before each paddle and replace regularly.

Please note: This leash is not a life saving device! All leashes can break or detach given enough force. Always wear your PFD and take all other appropriate safety precautions when paddling.
