While the name may be a bit of a misnomer, this rudder will be less likely to catch random weeds or debris due to it’s shorter length and reduced shaft clearance in front. This is the preferred option for flatwater racers that prefer an understern rudder set-up. The 8 inch rudder is standard equipment on most Stellar surf skis.
